Perhaps I'm biased (natural-born Idahoan here), but Idaho is shockingly underappreciated both within the US and abroad. Its stunning mountains, forests, rivers, and plains offer a taste of the once-wild American landscape while offering a surprising level of sophistication, serenity, and history.
Furthermore, it boasts some fantastic wildlife and scenery for any travel and adventure photographer.
